This policy explains what information RummyCardPlay handles when you visit the site or play our games. In short: you can play without an account, your game progress stays on your own device, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Playing the games
You never need an account to play. Our games save a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage, on your own device:
- rcp-points-v1: your current Points Rummy hand, running totals and game settings (number of players and level), so you can close the page and carry on later.
- rcp-lang: whether you chose English or Hindi in the game.
The game also keeps a copy of its own files in your browser’s cache so that it loads quickly and works offline. None of this is sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the stored data for this site in your browser’s settings.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts RummyCardPlay records basic technical details of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser type and the page you came from. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept only as long as our hosting setup needs them. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies
Visitors who read the site and play the games get no cookies from us. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. We do not use advertising or social media cookies.
Analytics
We do not currently use an analytics service. If we add one, we will update this page before it starts collecting anything, and name the service and what it collects.
Sponsored recommendations
Some pages, and the game’s result screen, can show a block of other free apps labelled “Sponsored”. The app icons in that block may load from the app developer’s or app store’s servers, which then see your IP address and browser type, as with any image on the web. If you tap a recommendation, you leave our site, and the app store or developer handles your data under their own privacy policy.
Search
If you use the site search, your search words are sent to our server to show the results, and may appear in the server logs described above. We do not store them anywhere else.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to fix the problems you report. We do not add you to a mailing list, and you can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
Children
RummyCardPlay is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not ask for, or knowingly collect, personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
